This is my portfolio, showing off what I feel is my best artwork. While most of this is shown throughout the site, I wanted to collect my best to one page, and explain in more detail why I feel these pics are some of my best artwork. They are by no means in order however, just how I picked them outa my files. ^.^;
Click on the Filename to see the full size pic. Please note, anything with Is also featured my Real portfolio that is used for college submission purposes, Thank you.

Image Title: Kayser at the Library
BIGGEST.INK.EVER.
This is a request-commission from my public library. They're showcasing various local artists on the ends of the four new bookshelves they got in, and asked me if I could be one of the four artists they showcased. I agreed, and spent the last 3 days on this poster for them. Drawn on poster board, it's final size (with frame) came out to be 23"X26". I decided to go all out and leave as little white space as possible, and I'm very proud with how it turned out. For those with a good eye, yes, it is my dragon Kayser. That wasn't intentional, honest! lol I suppose he's slightly older here, which I like. After this I got SO sick of drawing scales and books... this one gets in the portfolio for obvious reasons, I think I really outdid myself this time. I've been told I should make a dragon coloring book, it's something I'm starting to consider...

Image Title: Tilas the Pony
I pick this one because it's one I spent a long time working on. Tilas the My Little Pony. Made from a Golden Delicious, she was completely repainted and rehaired. I like her for the detail in the symbol, and the hair itself. I've found making ponies is a welcome distraction, and it's something new to stretch my abilities. I find that if I stay in one art for for too long, I get tired of it, so this is another new branch to try. I plan to do many more in the future.

Image Title: 029~ Cook
For the Sonic 100 challenge. This one gets in simply because I crack up laughing whenever I see it.

Image Title: Shadows Yukon Bear Dog Von Griz
This is one of my oldest pictures that I still liked enough to enter into my portfolio. The drawing is of my St.Bernard Bear, and it was one of my first attemptes at drawing realistic animals.
This one is dated some time in 1998, so you can tell it's pretty old. ^.^; I keep it in the portfolio now for two reasons. One is as I said, the other, a bit of a memorial to him, as I do miss him.

RLJoeJoe.jpg |
Image Title: JoeJoe Bird
First shot at drawing a realistic bird, this one is JoeJoe the Cockatoo. I still rather like this one, considering it was done in 1998. JoeJoe made a great creature to draw, she had personality,
and loved getting attention. Soon as she saw me drawing her, she started to make herself "look pretty" for me. I miss that bird, I still regret having to give her away.

Image Title: Knuckles' Mother on her Wedding day.
Okay, I'll put her real name if/when I can actually REMEMBER what it IS. *sweatdrop*. I just realized I flipped the colored picture then the original, how odd. O.o; Oh well. Anyways, This is another really old
image, the date reads July 7th, 2000. I keep it in the portfolio because it's rather pretty, and I like the detail on it, Something very nice form that time frame.

Image Title: It's only a picture.
Ahh, I do love images that give off a shock effect. Yes, I was in a very bad mood when I drew this one, but looking back, It's nice to see hoe emotions can help fuel
good pictures. This one was drawn in pencil crayon on black paper, which really helped give it a creepy effect. Bonus points for using a medium that can enhance the overall work.

Image Title: Scortch, Son of Pheonix
No line coloring is hard, tedious, but worthwhile. Oh, and the smudge tool is your friend. This one is filled with very hot colors, which is obvious considering what Scortch IS. I like his eye the best, very detailed and it just looks cool.

Image Title: He is the bagman
Tilas: Check this out-> http://artinsanity.com/furry/greliz.gif
Greliz: XD
Greliz: am i telling God to bow?
Tilas: Sure X]
Greliz: YAY!!!!! :D
That sums up this picture, totally. XD

Image Title: Isis Sleeping
Very fast sketch, but I like it for the shading int he folds of the blanket she's sleeping on. Of course, halfway through drawing this
Isis woke up, got mad at me for staring at her, and promptly rolled over, making me finish by memory. :P Whatta dog....

Leonardo1.png |
Image Title: Burndens of Leadership
Leonardo has always been the turtle to take on the most hardships, because no matter what the decision he makes about the situation or his brothers, the outcome will always be upon his shoulders, good, or bad. How does one take that sort of responsibility?
I drew this picture originally way back in March, but ever since then, I kept going back to it and looking at it, cause it was screaming "COLOR ME!!!" So, I finally decided to. I LOVE how this came out, so here it is in the portfolio! :D

family.jpg |
Image Title: Family.
I love how this turned out, it just came out perfect. And look, I finally got Space that reference pic of Hawker. XD I decided to keep Kayser in his dragon form behind us as that's how he usually is, protecting us all.
Hawker just looks pissed, which suits him. Me, I got this lil sly girn. XD Space has a total over protective father look, and since he has his arm around Keona, it's perfect. Gri, being the cyborg, has a more emotionless
expression and stance, but that helps show his character. This is also a full page ink and color, with very little wasted space, which really pleased me. I keep thinking I should print this one out as a poster and put it up on my wall....

Gypsy.gif |
Image Title: Gypsy
Small dogs are fun to draw, especially Gypsy here. He was for the most part very easy to draw, as long as he sat still. Overall, a very nice headshot, with good shading.

personalimagefin.png |
Image Title: Personal image.
This is a picture I could really see being on the wall of a classroom, as one of those inspirational peices. It's something that is meant to make you feel good about yourself. Art wise, I like it. The Chiahahah (yes, i know that is spelled wrong XD)
has such a confident look on his face, and for good reason. As for the St Benard, I was told that the Keg was too big, but I still like it anyways.

BuckyJazz.png |
Image Title: Great Green Gaming Rabbits
These two stars hardly get the attention they derseve, Bucky O'Hare and Jazz Jackrabbit! I was a big fan of them both when I was younger, so I decided to try a picture of both of them. I was very pelased with the result. A very full image, with hardly any blank space,
and lots of contrasting colors, red and green. Thick lines helped give this image life, and I'm pleased with the time I've been taking to ink the pictures now.

mytallestcolor.gif |
Image Title: Goodybye, My Tallest....
This one earns a spot on my portfolio for a number of reasons. First of all, it's a full page ink, something I don't do often. Secondly, it tells a story. This picture is based on my fanfic Goodbye, My Tallest..., and it's the 'big finale' scene. Third, I think the coloring job is exceptionally well done, I even took a shot at shadows. It actually looks like a scene from the cartoon, which pleases me. Finally, it makes you feel emotion. Pity for Zim, possibly anger for what he's doing, or sympathy.

CrackersBeach.jpg |
Image Title: Catch You on the Flip Side
This image started out as a little doodle I did at work. Click here to see the doodle. I showed this to Space, and he said that I should try to draw it, so I gave it a shot. The drawing itself is VERY simplistic, and I might add, not that great; but I felt I didn't wanna do a half assed job on it, so I tried a new style of coloring. Thise took HOURS to complete, but it just goes to show you that time and effort can turn slag into GOLD! This one is my desktop on my computer, and still is one of my all time best works.

Image Title: Space Shaded
What can I say other then sexy tigerhedgie!? X] Seriously though, the shading and the little details speak for themselves. The seams on the jeans, the bumps on the hand, the dirt on the back wall, very nice. This image was actually drawn on a scrap of till tape I found at work, you can see the bend from where I folded it to put it in my pocket, I almost forgot about it in there and it almost went through the wash. X.x;

Image Title: After a Busy Day
Quite old, but still a top favorite. I love this one a lot simply because it was all done by MOUSE. No pencil or paper, just time, boredom, and a computer mouse. I'm very pleased with both poses, Crackers hanging on and Tilas showing there's weight on her shoulders (but not much, chao are incredibly light) I thought Crackers holding a computer mouse while snoozing was a really cute touch. :)

Image Title: Slit the Wrists
First off, this was NOT a picture induced by suicidal thoughts. I am NOT in any way suicidal. Truth be told, I was feeling quite content when I drew this picture. WHY I did it I can't tell you, for I don't know. Another one done strictly on MSPaint, I think it turned out quite well. I like how the hand is holding the blade, not often I get hands right without looking awkward.
Though I was informed later (I'm not telling by whom), that the picture is incorrect. To successfully slit your wrists, you drag the blade UP, along the vein, not across the wrist, that's just mainly for TV..... and... yah. Learn something new everyday I suppose. o.o;
For the record however, I am dead against suicide and self harm. When I draw images like this, they are just that, images. I have on a few occasions drawn bloody or violent images, but this is my way of taking my anger out on something. I'd rather show a cartoon character slashed and shot then do it to myself. Normally after such a dark image, I feel better, the anger fades.

Image Title: PIE!
My first 100% Mouse drawn comic. I still love it. X] If it's not painfully obvious, Dark's head in the first 6 panels is the same one, just the eyes are altered (I was lazy) but hey, that was just to winde you up for the last panel. Dark's pose is excellent, and my evil little grin is just plain funny. I screwed up on the pie though. XD The lil red things (icing, I guess) should be on the SIDE, not the top. Oops. XD
Oh yes, this has and DOES work on Dark, but only I cn pull it off. ;)

Image Title: The Fallen Gatekeeper
Another boredom spwaned picture. Quite different form my normal, which is what makes it so great. The detail on everything really enhances the picture. When I scanned this, I thought about coloring it, but I thought the dark effect would be lost if I did, so I just added the nigth effect, and left it at that. I'm glad I did, because it simply adds to the pic even more.

Tilascentaur.JPG |
Image Title: Tilas the.....Centaur?
This took a long time to complete, but worth it. One thing I really like about this pic is t's very feminine; I usually have a hard time drawing female bodies. ^.^; No surprise, seeing as how I've been mistaken for a guy on so many occasions. So when I funally finished ths pic, I was really happy with it, I got better at porportions.

| Brandonreal.gif |
Image Title: Realistic pic of Omega.
Really happy with this one, I like how the realistic and furry went together nicely. This was a test to see if I could do a 'realistic cartoon', and I think I did rather nicely. I like how both balance out, alone with the bits of detail in it.

TFalone.gif |
Image Title: Alone
Truth be told, this is how I feel many days. This image was actually inspired from being forgotten at school. I was left alone waiting outside a classroom at the very back end of the school, were no on went at that time of day, save my art class. However that day, no one showed up.... not even the teacher. It left me with a severe feeling of loneliness, so while I sat there on the floor by the door, I drew this pic. It captures the feeling quite well, and the words are something that ran through my mind over and over that day. Granted being left alone isn't that bad, but that day all my thoughts and memories were of being alone, so they just compiled and came out in this pic, which is what gives it that great amount of emotion.
However, peoples reactions to this one sometimes dissapoint me. Many just go "oh nice pic". Well IMHO, if you truely knew the reason behind the image, you might ask me to take counseling. But overall, this pic still rates as one of my top favorites. Of only I could draw liek this more often...

MetalS.GIF |
Image Title: Destruction of Metal Sonic
This one is.... almost eerie. Here Metal Sonic sits, alone, damaged and offline, yet all around him is a peacefull serene valley near a creek. To me anyways, it conveys a strange emotion. It's one of those pics that make you think and ask the questions "Why? How?" leaving up to your own thoughts what truely happened. Even I don't know what happened, nor why I was inspired to draw it. It's one of those images that just happen, and are there to make you wonder.

standoff2.gif |
Image Title: Stand Off
For its time, this one had an insane amount of detail. Yet another I can't explain really, I dunno why I'm threatening to blow Dark's head off. I guess it's a figure it out yourself pic. But I love the detail, right down to the lil puddles of water and the pebbles on the ground. Oh, and the SHADOWS are excellent too. Shadows are something I rarely ever do, and this time they came out great.

kup.GIF |
Image Title: Battle Weary
This is Kupp from the G1 Series of Transformers. He always was my favorite character. I like this picture because it's the first time I've drawn a Transformer, and because is came out so well. The shading, the scratches and marks on his body, his pose and expression are how I wanted. He stands, looking out and thinking of times gone by, battles long since fought. Being the "Elder" of Transformers, I thought a image of him reflecting on his life would turn out nice, and it did.

RLWolf.gif |
Image Title: Wolf
Wolf I did I believe in art class. I love this picture for the shading and realism. It just turned out really well. Though, I did want to slap my art teacher for saying it's "too cartoony". -.- Many poeple still say this os one of my best RL images, I agree.

Image Title: Peek-A-Boo!
I love this one for the coloring I did. He looks just too cute! ^.^ The coloring brings this pic to life, and that's why it's one of my favs.

Image Title: Coolex And DarkAll
This is the first Dragon picture I've ever done, and one of my favorites. It took 5 hours to do, but as you can see that paid off. This was a gift to Dark Coolex, so I'm very happy he liked it.

Dragonanniversary.GIF |
Image Title: 25th Anniversary
This was a gift to my parents for their 25th Anniversary. I like this image because of all the detail in the scales, and how the two dragons are so loving to each other. Though I loved my dad's comment when he saw it.- "Dragons? Now I feel old!" XD
