Image Title: Cat's Eye
Created On: January 10th, 2009
Garfield had been sitting on top of my monitor annoying me for over 2 hours. He kept hanging his paws down over the monitor and swatting at me when I try to move them so I can see what I'm doing. So I decided to annoy him back with the camera. I love the extreme closeup.

Image Title: Evil Raccoonified
Created On: January 10th, 2009
I was going to do more with this, but like an idiot I overwrote the original file. Teach me to pay attention while saving. Oh well, it looks quite nice as a flat color. I think this would make a really nice logo for my brother.

Image Title: Yin & Yang
Created On: December 13th, 2008
Darkwing was down, critically injured. It was probable he wouldn't even survive this night. However, Launchpad had the gun, and he had Negaduck cornered. He could end this easily, finally. Yet still... Darkwing ordered Launchpad to stand down, to let Negaduck go. After all this? After everything that Nega has done, DW is letting him go? His best friend, helpless in the rubble of crates and the trashed remains of the Rat Catcher, the last of his strength seeping away from him, and yet he asks mercy for his worst enemy? The one who has nearly cost them all their lives? Launchpad couldn't understand it.
And yet... Launchpad lowered the weapon. Negaduck looked at him, then back at his fallen enemy. Their eyes met, and Nega was drawn to him. He cautiously moved towards him. Each step seeming to pound in the ears of everyone in the warehouse. He slowly knelt before Darkwing, looming over him. Darkwing was so helpless... he could just... they wouldn't be able to react fast enough... he glanced back at Gosalyn.
No.
He understood now. He could no more take no more take her daddy's life, then Darkwing could take his. As much hate seethed inside his soul at Darkwing, he couldn't kill that little girl?s father. Her daddy. Because he himself knew, his own little girl was waiting at home.
The smallest of tears in his eye, he turned his gaze back to Darkwing. DW looked up weakly at him, in silence. Nega slowly reached down, and pulled the black Yin pendant from Darkwings neck.
"This belongs to me." Nega said to Darkwing, before standing up again. Clutching the Yin pendant in his hand, he silently turned and walked out of the warehouse.
Within his soul he knew. He and Darkwing truly were two parts of a whole. The Yin, and the Yang.
-------------------------
Ever get things in your head that won't leave until you make them come to life? Yah, that's what this is. This actually started out as a dream, and the following morning I just had to write everything I could remember down. I have begun writing the fan-fic for this, Yin and Yang, and I will eventually finish off and color this picture, because it's such an important scene to the story. I'll still keep the pencil version here though, because
it's not often I do full page pencils, and I really like this peice because of that.

Image Title: Hymn of Unity
Created On: September 28th, 2008
This was my first real test to see what I could do with photoshop, I'm still leanring the program. I think it turned out extremly well in the end, I'm rather proud of it! And to think, this all started as a doodle in MSPaint.
For those who don't know, this is from Ecco the Dolphin- Defender of the Future. There are the three dolphin clans in the chapter "Man's Nightmare", called the Circle, the Mover, and the Crimson. The Mover is pretty much the only clan who gets what's actually going on (meaning- humans, being the warlike bastards they are, had used dolphins as their personal bitches and then effectively killed themselves off so now the few remaining dolphins get to wither away and DIE in a ravaged, destroyed earth. Humanity sucks.) hence why we don't hear his piece of the "Hymn of Unity", but rather his cold little warning/threat.
And for those who DO know this game, the Asterite is in the background because he's MUCH cooler then the Guardian, and it's a little homage to the original games. ;)

Image Title: To Protect and Heal
Created On: April 28th, 2008
Daniel: I swear, do you enjoy being reckless, or are you just accident prone?
Darren: Oh common, I got the victims out of the blaze alive, didn't I?
Daniel: And that is the ONLY reason I'm bandaging you up instead of letting you suffer.
Darren: What about your Hippocratic oath?
Daniel: You're family. That makes you immune.
Darren: Aw, you wouldn't hurt your baby brother would you?
Daniel: No, I suppose you do that well enough on your own. By Phoenix, what possessed you to rush into that burning building WITHOUT your helmet?
Darren: Uhm... adrenaline?
Daniel: And I'm sure "adrenaline" is what made you not see that beam either huh?
Darren: Common... it was smoky in there, I couldn't see at all!
Daniel: One of these days you're gonna get yourself killed... Next time be more careful or so help me...!
Darren: Aw, how sweet, you care.
Daniel: ....*sigh* Just be careful next time.
Darren: Always.
-----------------------------------------
Images that tell a story, some of the best kind. Daniel and Darren are two characters that Space and I role play, and I enjoy the characters themselves, because they're very down to earth, with their own jobs and histories, plus they bounce off each other so well. Big brother Daniel, taking care of his little brother Darren, both doing their jobs, helping those in need. My only real regret about this picture is the use of the bezier curve, I sort of rushed it, and the line work sufferend a bit for it. I hope the finished product made up for it though.

Image Title: 029~ Cook
Created On: October 22nd, 2006
For the Sonic 100 challenge. This one gets in simply because I laugh whenever I see it. Back when I first started to use toys and things as props, because I got into pic-fics like Pullip Panic. What's funny though, is that over a year after I posted this, someone pointed out to me that Knuckles hand is on the wrong dail. He's going to cook himself! ...well Knux never was very bright, is he? :)

| Image Title: Kayser at the Library
Created On: October 7th, 2006
BIGGEST.INK.EVER.
This was a request/commission from my public library. They showcased various local artists on the ends of the four new bookshelves they got in, and asked me if I could be one of the four artists they showcased. I agreed, and spent about 3 days on this poster for them. Drawn on poster board, it's final size (with frame) came out to be 23"X26". I decided to go all out and leave as little white space as possible, and I'm very proud with how it turned out. For those with a good eye, yes, it is my dragon Kayser. That wasn't intentional, honest! lol I suppose he's slightly older here, which I like. After this I got SO sick of drawing scales and books... this one gets in the portfolio for obvious reasons, I think I really outdid myself this time. I've been told I should make a dragon coloring book, it's something I'm starting to consider...

Image Title: Great Green Gaming Rabbits
Created On: January 17th, 2005
These two stars hardly get the attention they derseve, Bucky O'Hare and Jazz Jackrabbit! I was a big fan of them both when I was younger, so I decided to try a picture of both of them. I was very pelased with the result. A very full image, with hardly any blank space, and lots of contrasting colors, red and green. Thick lines helped give this image life.

Image Title: Dark Coolex
Created On: 2004
Two lessons learned here.
One- Taking photos of your finished product is a MUST.
Two- The more bubblewrap you use, the better off you'll be.
I was so proud of this little guy when he was finished. He's still one of my best clayworks. Sadly, I never got a good photo of him completed, and sadly, he got broken in the mail on the way to his new home. I was really happy with how he came out, he looked very close to his character, and I thought I did very well on his pose.

Image Title: Goodybye, My Tallest....
Created On: June 1st, 2004
This one earned a spot on my portfolio for a number of reasons. First of all, it's a full page ink, something I don't do often. Secondly, it tells a story. This picture is based on my fanfic Goodbye, My Tallest..., and it's the 'big finale' scene. Third, I think the coloring job is exceptionally well done, I even took a shot at shadows. It actually looks like a scene from the cartoon, which pleases me. Finally, it makes you feel emotion. Pity for Zim, possibly anger for what he's doing, or sympathy.

Created On: March 12th, 2004
Leonardo has always been the turtle to take on the most hardships, because no matter what the decision he makes about the situation or his brothers, the outcome will always be upon his shoulders, good, or bad. How does one take that sort of responsibility?
I drew this picture months prior, but ever since then, I kept going back to it and looking at it, cause it was screaming "COLOR ME!!!" So, I finally decided to. It came out very nicely.

Image Title: Isis Sleeping
Created On: January 22nd, 2004
Very fast sketch, mainly for practising folds. Of course, halfway through drawing this
Isis woke up, got mad at me for staring at her, and promptly rolled over, making me finish by memory. :P Whatta dog...

Image Title: He is the bagman
Created On: December 13th, 2003
Tilas: Check this out-> http://artinsanity.com/furry/greliz.gif
Greliz: XD
Greliz: am i telling God to bow?
Tilas: Sure X]
Greliz: YAY!!!!! :D
That sums up this picture, totally. Sometimes, it isn't the picture that is great, but the reaction to it.

Image Title: Space Shaded
Created On: September 27th, 2003
The shading and the little details speak for themselves. The seams on the jeans, the bumps on the hand, the dirt on the back wall, very nice. This image was actually drawn on a scrap of till tape I found at work, you can see the bend from where I folded it to put it in my pocket, I almost forgot about it in there and it almost went through the wash.

Image Title: Scortch, Son of Pheonix
Created On: August 18th, 2003
No line coloring is hard, tedious, but worthwhile. Oh, and the smudge tool is your friend. This one is filled with very hot colors, which is obvious considering what Scortch IS. I like his eye the best, very detailed and it just looks cool.

Image Title: Catch You on the Flip Side
Created On: July 12th, 2003
This image started out as a little doodle I did at work. Click here to see the doodle. I showed this to Space, and he said that I should try to draw it, so I gave it a shot. The drawing itself is VERY simplistic, and I might add, not that great; but I felt I didn't wanna do a half assed job on it, so I tried a new style of coloring. This took HOURS to complete, but in the end, it was worth the effort.

Image Title: It's only a picture.
Created On: January 4th, 2003
Ahh, I do love images that give off a shock effect. Yes, I was in a very bad mood when I drew this one, but looking back, It's nice to see hoe emotions can help fuel
good pictures. This one was drawn in pencil crayon on black paper, which really helped give it a creepy effect. Bonus points for using a medium that can enhance the overall work.

Image Title: Battle Weary
Created On: September 21st, 2002
This is Kupp from the G1 Series of Transformers. He always was my favorite character. I like this picture because it's the first time I've drawn a Transformer, and because is came out so well. The shading, the scratches and marks on his body, his pose and expression are how I wanted. He stands, looking out and thinking of times gone by, battles long since fought. Being the "Elder" of Transformers, I thought a image of him reflecting on his life would turn out nice, and it did.

Image Title: 25th Anniversary
Created On: July 21st, 2002
This was a gift to my parents for their 25th Anniversary. I like this image because of all the detail in the scales, and how the two dragons are so loving to each other. Though I loved my dad's comment when he saw it.- "Dragons? Now I feel old!" XD I only have a copy of this in my portfolio, the original is still hanging on the wall in my parents living room.

Image Title: Destruction of Metal Sonic
Created On: April 4th, 2002
This one is.... almost eerie. Here Metal Sonic sits, alone, damaged and offline, yet all around him is a peacefull serene valley near a creek. To me anyways, it conveys a strange emotion. It's one of those pics that make you think and ask the questions "Why? How?" leaving up to your own thoughts what truely happened. Even I don't know what happened, nor why I was inspired to draw it. It's one of those images that just happen, and are there to make you wonder.

Image Title: Stand Off
Created On: March 4th, 2002
For its time, this one had an insane amount of detail. Yet another I can't explain really, I dunno why Tilas is threatening to blow Dark's head off. I guess it's a figure it out yourself pic. But I love the detail, right down to the lil puddles of water and the pebbles on the ground. Oh, and the SHADOWS are excellent too. Shadows are something I rarely ever do, and this time they came out great.

Image Title: Wolf
Created On: 2002
Wolf I did I believe in art class. I love this picture for the shading and realism. It just turned out really well. Though, I did want to slap my art teacher for saying it's "too cartoony". -.-

Image Title: Alone
Created On: January 21st, 2002
How to say this delicately... school sucked.
This image was actually inspired from being forgotten at school. I was left alone waiting outside a classroom at the very back end of the school, were no on went at that time of day, save my art class. However that day, no one showed up.... not even the teacher. It left me with a severe feeling of loneliness, so while I sat there on the floor by the door, I drew this pic. It captures the feeling quite well, and the words are something that ran through my mind over and over that day. Granted being left alone isn't that bad, but that day all my thoughts and memories were of being alone, so they just compiled and came out in this pic, which is what gives it that great amount of emotion.

Image Title: Coolex And DarkAll
Created On: December 6th, 2001
This is the first Dragon picture I've ever done. It took 5 hours to do, but as you can see that paid off. This was a gift to Dark Coolex, so I'm very happy he liked it.

Image Title: Lara-Le on her Wedding day.
Created On: July 7th, 2000
For some reason, I flipped the colored picture from the original, how odd. Oh well. Anyways, I keep it in the portfolio because it's rather pretty, and I like the detail on it, Something very nice from that time frame.

Image Title: Shadows Yukon Bear Dog Von Griz
Created On: Fall 1998
This is one of my oldest pictures that I still liked enough to enter into my portfolio. The drawing is of my St.Bernard Bear, and it was one of my first attemptes at drawing realistic animals.
This one is dated some time in 1998, so you can tell it's pretty old. ^.^; I keep it in the portfolio now for two reasons. One is as I said, the other, a bit of a memorial to him, as I do miss him.

Image Title: JoeJoe Bird
Created On: Fall 1998
First shot at drawing a realistic bird, this one is JoeJoe the Cockatoo. I still rather like this one, considering it was done in 1998. JoeJoe made a great creature to draw, she had personality,
and loved getting attention. Soon as she saw me drawing her, she started to make herself "look pretty" for me. I miss that bird, I still regret having to give her away.
